So today Brad jumped me......... ok get your mind out of the gutter, that didn't come til later that night. Ha Ha just kidding (Tracy that was for you:)) anyways, seriously after spending the day at the waterpark. We get out to our car and it wont even unlock with the keypad, or unlock with the power unlock button inside once I opened it manually, because the battery was sooo DEAD. I had to call Brad who was already half way home from work to come and help us. Come to find out that while I had sat Brex in the drivers seat while I grabbed our bag etc.. that he had been playing with all the buttons and had turned my headlights on and they had been that way for 5 1/2 hrs. I had even joked around with the girls that when we got in the car that my windshild wipers would probley be on and that the radio might be full blast. Nope even worse. Anyways thank goodness my hubby is the manly man that he is so that he would naturally be prepared with jumper cables, he took good care of us so we did make it home after a LONG day out in the sun. Brittany had a friend Lexi who got a pass also and is planning on coming with us quite a bit, this is nice because they can take off and do all the big slides and stuff while I am with the little ones. I am going to get a sitter a couple times for Brex so that I can go and do the big slides to, Londyn is brave and will be able to do those with Britt and I. Brex and Londyn spent almost the whole day on these little slides. This day is the first of many that we are planning on having with our season passes.

Brittany performs & Londyns last day of Preschool

This morning while Londyn was at school, Brex and I went to watch Brittanys class perform their "Musical Tea time". This is where we watch them perform some of their favorite songs from the yr. and then have cookies and punch with them. They did such a great job! Brex loved the music and sat like such a good boy on my lap the whole time. Their music teacher is great and has taught the kids tons! next yr Brittany gets to join the band and she is thinking about playing the flute. (she says she wants somthing small so she doesnt have to lug around a huge instrument, I say SMART GIRL, I wish I would have thought about that, I played the saxaphone, and although it was fun to play, it was crap to haul home to practice all the time.)
Londyn's last day of Preschool for the year

This pic is of Londyn with her preschool teacher "Mrs. Rebekah". What a great teacher she is! Londyn has loved every project, song, and just EVERYTHING about school. She will be going back to the same preschool next yr after the summer and I seriously know that Londyn will be so sad to take this break. Her teacher is due to have her 3rd son in just 4 weeks, so I know she is looking forward to the time off. Today to finish off the year all the kids came in their swimming suits and sun blocked up, for fun outside in the water. Londyn has turned into such a social butterfly latley, so we will have to have some friends over to play to get us by:) We also got a packet of cute pics from throughout the yr. I am going to get those scanned into the computer and will post those later.

1. He is ALL boy! he cant get enough dirt on himself, under his nails, or in his mouth. ( I seriously think he trys to outdo himself each time he gets the oppurtunity)
2. He LOVES to be outside, I can just open the door first thing in the morning and he is a goner, I cant get him to come back in without some major kicking and screaming.
3. He loves to make me be grossed out, I swear he trys to find things to do that are just sick. For example he climbed up to Londyns toothbrush, got down and as I am sure he has seen me do with the toilet brush, cleaned the toilet. You might be wondering how I found this out. Well, that happened when he came into me with his arms wet up to his shoulders and the toothbrush in his mouth!
4. Brexen Loves to cuddle! It took him until he was about a yr old to become this way, but he loves to get his blanket and come sit with me. I love that he does this! my last baby, I have to take advantage.
5. Brex thinks his sisters are the coolest people ever! He has from day one wanted to be right out there playing with them, now that he is, I just love to watch them play together. He thinks everything is so funny, and laughs all the time.
6. Brexens nickname is "Camo", and he knows it! His papa gave him this nickname and from day one when his papa would call his name he would turn his head.
7. Brex LOVES ANIMALS! I cant even say LOVES enough. I wish I could just break down and get him a dog or somthing ( I am working on trying to like dogs more) because he would be in heaven! when I took him to the zoo it was hilarious, from the beginning of the day to the very end his reaction didnt change a bit. With every new animal he was amazed and would start talking a hundred miles an hour and be smiling and pointing. I am talking like 4 hrs of this:)

This weekend my bro Jordon and his new wifey Kenz came for a visit.

We had a fun time. We started out by going bright and early Saturday morning over to Schnepf's farm for their peach festival. We had HUMUNGO pancakes with peaches and whip cream on them, Yummmm! somthing that we look forward to all year long. We just walked around and looked at some animals but didnt stick around to long. The weather was cloudy, cool and it kept sprinkling on us. I am not complaining, because I know that with the Hot days that are on there way that this might just be the last weekend for awhile with this kind of temps. However we did opt for an indoor activity, so off to the bowling alley we went. This is somthing that we seem to do alot with fam when they come down. The kids all had a great time and us adults tore it up also. We also did a little shopping and then headed back to our place to have dinner. We are always sad to have company leave but we are so glad that they were able to come!

Brexen is so silly!

The other day I was on the computer and Brex was already dressed for the day but he came out of his bedroom with a pair of shorts, he came over to me and let me know that he really wanted them on. I proceeded to tell him that he already had shorts on, but then he sat down and tryed to do it himself, so I thought what the heck, if it makes him happy I will let him where 2 pair of shorts. Big mistake! a few seconds later he came running out of his room with another shirt, so I put that on too. Next was his pjs, since they were the ones with little footsies in them, I just put his arms in and left the back like a cape. He was totally stylin', but having a hard time moving around all packed in there with all of those layers. It was funny because after he had been wearing his clothes like that for about an hour, he finally realized that he had the foot part of the pjs swaying around behind him and he wanted them ON. No I didnt even attempt it, but dont think he didn't try unsuccessfully. Darn it:( And yes I did have to be a mean mom and make him take a few of the layer off when it was time to get Londyn from school, he wouldn't have even fit in the carseat without reajusting the straps. But the good news is that he had such a good time doing it that every morning he is pulling things out of the drawers so proud of himself and wanting them ALL on.

The Host

So I need to just say that this book has been the cause for my totally, completly, sleepless night. I am getting close to the end and read for awhile lastnight hoping to finish. unfortanatly all I did was set my mind up to dream very very vividly in many different directions when I had finally decided to go to sleep, I guess in my dreams I was trying to discover lots of different ways that this book should end. When I wolk up I think I was more tired than befor I went to bed (well with all that running, hiding etc that I was doing ALL NIGHT long) I realize that it is a series and will leave me hanging but geeze. I have to wonder what kind of dreams this author had as a kid to be able to come up with her crazy story ideas, I'm soo not complaining, they are great! What has everyone thought of this book? I havent heard much buzz about this one yet.

Fathers and Son campout

I cant beleive I forgot to post about this fathers and son campout and all that happened that weekend. First off Brad, Brex, Papa, great granpa and few others all went out camping. From the sounds of it they all had a good time. Brex was sooooo filthy which is always a good indicator that he had a blast! at one time i heard that Brexens hands were the same color as his hair, thanks to yummy Cheetos, what a great treat for camping. I mean come on you are already so dirty why not add some cheetos to the mix:) Brad was quite happy that Brex slept great. The day befor the campout I had to take brex to the dr to check to make sure he didnt have an earinfection because he had wolken up sevral times the night before, which is totally out of his norm. Anyways I was told that it was just those dang molars trying to come through, I had my sneaking suspision thats what was the problem i just wanted to make sure. I would have felt bad to find out that he was in pain when there was somthing I was able to do.

While the boys were away we spent friday night at a spa party. And then Sat morning is where life got crazy, I did an early morning weave so that I would be done in time to get Brittany to her last bball game, and thank goodness I finished a little early because as soon as I was done and she had left I heard a blood curdling scream come from outside. I ran out there to see one of the neighbor familys had been out for a family bikeride and the dad had slipped somehow and hit his head very badly. It had scalped him from above his eye quite a ways back. So he was bleeding horribly. His wife was calling 911 on her cell phone and was so frantic she handed the phone to me. So I was telling the peramedics how to get to our neighborhood. anyways I helped to get somthing to put on his head and let them use my phone because theres was on emergency mode, and then helped to get the bikes back to their house just in time to rush to britts game. Quite eventful.

Now a little background on this family, they have lived in my neighborhood for about 2 yrs and they have never even looked me in the eye, they do not say hello or even ignolidge you if you were to pass. They homeschool there children and needless to say are just very private to themselves people. So I have wondered if they would not like me to come by just to make sure things were ok. But a few days later I was the one who accually received one of the nicest cards from them expressing their thanks. I was greatful to be able to help them.

Saturday morning cartoons?

This morning I was upstairs working on a project and I was thinking how nice it was that the kids were all getting along and hanging out while watching Saturday morning cartoons, or was it? wrong, to my suprise the show that was keeping my kids entertained was none other than "American Gladiators". THANKS DADDY! Brad has been watching it and now has the kids all into it. Infact, it is so cool that all day long Londyn has been playing it. She is "Venom" she has told Brex that he is "Wolf" and has been trying to get him to howl. Brittany is "Crush" ahh watch out, they take their roles very seriously while playing. Thank heavens for those pool noodles, it has saved my kids from seriously injuring one another while fighting, and compeating:) much entertainment has been given to my kids from those dang noodles. Acually it is preety funny to watch them do this.

Larin tagged my kids a little while ago and I have been trying to come up with the time to do a blurp about each of them, so I decided to start with just one at a time and who knows maybe I will suprise myself and accually get them done quicker than I thought I would. 6 unknown facts about her are:

1. Brittany is a Diva, (oh wait, I guess I was soppost to do unknown facts about her & anyone who knows her, already knows that about her) Ok so I asked her what she wanted me to make sure and make mention of and she said to say what her fav amimal is, which is a monkey, fav colors are brown and turquoise (if you dont beleive her, go back to her bedroom post). She loves mexican and chinese food. Totally loves music, soccor, bball and hanging out with friends.

2. Britt loves animals. She has a list of names that is all the time updated that she plans to use on her animals that she may someday have.

3. She does really great in school, she has always been super smart! She is in 4th grade but has been moved up to 5-6 math and gets to go in with a different teacher for that. (now hopfully she contiues to do well as she gets older!)

4. Brittany talked very early, by 18months when she went to nursery, she was talking complete sentences and so clearly that everyone could understand her, all the nursery leaders were so amazed. I honestly didnt realize how cool it was, because I didnt really have anyone to compare her to:)

5. Britt has to always wear her jewlery or she like freaks out, even when we go camping she is the one who spends an hour in front of the mirror in the toy hauler accessorizing and making sure her outfit and hair is just so. Infact when she started bball practice I told her she had to take it off and she seriously contimplated not playing because of that. She settled on atleast studs.

6. Lastly my little sweety Britt is so compassionate and tenderhearted. She still cant watch a handful of disney movies because they make her cry EVERY time. She is such a good kid and is so helpful! her sis and bro are lucky to have her to look up to, she really tries to be a good example. Love ya girl.

So last Thursday the girls in the fam got together for a girls night at the Cheesecake factory, yummy! If you know this group at all you would know that we had a blast and laughed the whole time. Also I had to put this cute pic of the little girlys swimming, I love this pic.

First a little tribute to my mom, she is truly one of my best friends! We always have a great time and lots of laughs when we are together. She is such a great grandma who loves her grandkids oddles. I am so greatful to have grown up in a home with a mom who cared so much. And hey, I think she must have done a preety good job, I mean just look how great I turned out! ha ha Mom I Love you!!!My next mom is Shanna, and I just love her so much also. She will do anything for anyone. What a great example! She will go out of her way to make sure everyone around her is comfortable and that they feel right at home. Thanks for all you do! And thanks for letting me marry your super awesome son. Shanna I love you!
My third mom is Marilyn, she is my mother in law from my first marriage to Don. (Brittany's Daddy) She has always had a special place in my heart. She is a very warm and caring person. I appriciate her love and support throughout everything. Please, Please dont mind me the oompa loompa in red in this picture, this was the only pic I could find of Marilyn on this computer. Let us not forget WHY I should never go through pregnancy again. There is nothing cute about that! Marilyn I love you!

These pics are from our last trip to ut. Along part of the drive there is about a 15 mile stretch that have these huge dino's. So when it was time to stop to let the kids get out their wiggles we decided that this would be the perfect place to stop. They totally loved this, I think that we will be making it a routine to stop everytime. I think the kids were suprised to see how big this was when we were right up close to it.

So the highlight of my kids mornings and evenings have been looking for our neighborhood bunny rabbit, they then chase it all around. I honestly dont know where the bunny goes throughout the rest of the day but it totally has it's routine down. We first spotted this bunny a couple weeks ago and thought it was so funny to see it just out and about, it's a quick one and wouldnt let anyone catch it. So the neighbors and us decided to all share it, perfect pet if you ask me. Brittany went on a feildtrip to a farm where they got to harvest there own radishes, and she had brought some home, so she was taking those out for the bunny to eat. Most of the neighbors have fountains in there front yards so it has its drink. Quite the set up.

Happy Cinco de Mayo today! It's not really a holiday that is celebrated. But really do you need much of an excuse to get together and have mexican food, yummm! We had the fam over to swim and eat at our house yesterday. Brads grandma from out of town just got in for a visit, we dont get to see her very often so its always nice when she comes. Also Tracy's mother in law "Phylis" is in town to help with their new little baby "Sidnee"(what a cutie!) we just love her, so it's fun when she is here. We had such a house full, as you can see from the photos.

SUPER MODEL BRITT!

I am totally sorry for those of you who didnt get to vote yet. We must act impulsivly and cut quickley so there is no room for changing of the mind. We are pleased to inform you that her new haircut is FABULOUS as you can see.

To cut or not to cut?

Brittany is trying to decide weather or not to cut her hair to her chin. She is thinking that with the summer and swimming that it would be so much less of a hassle to not have to work out the tangles. However, she looks so preety with it longer and it is preety long ( for her anyways). So she would like a little help in deciding:)))) What do you think, go to the poll off to the side and vote! no voting for both, or you can see how that does no good in helping:)))) ha ha
