Poor little guy

What a tough little guy! Brex was out riding his motorcylce a few days ago and crashed into the block wall right on a corner. On top of what you see here, he had a lrg trickle of blood running out of this. He cryed for maybe 2 minutes but then wanted to go ride more. He kept on swipping his forhead to wipe away this enormus lump, I am sure he could see it because it was sticking out so00 far.
This was right after the 2 min mark of crying. I dont think he realized why I was taking the pic, he just put on his cute smile. If you notice, all of his recent pics he has this cheesy crooked smile, we dont know what it is all about. But Brad and I were laughing so hard the other day because as we were going through a ton of pic's they ALL were like this. Silly boy!

Kindergarten Shots

If you can tell , Londyn's entire sholder is huge and swollen, and hot to the touch. Those dang immunizations! she had her last 5 shots yesterday to get ready to go into Kindergarten. she did amazingly well, and didn't even shed a tear. I couldnt beleive it, even the nurse was super suprised that she was so tough. I did take her to get her a giant suprise for doing so well! After we got home from getting them, I noticed that her entire body had become completly covered in a bad rash and so I had to call back to the dr's to question them. I was informed it was not a suppost to be a side effect to her shots, so I had to give her some Benedryl and then keep a close eye on it to make sure it didnt spread any worse, but really it was already everywhere. It was weird because the medicine didnt help it to go away at all. I checked on her at 1 in the morning and Brad checked on her right before he left for work at 4 and it hadnt gone away. But by 7 when she got up it was all gone. Thank goodness! anyways, she is super excited that she is officially all ready to be able to start Kindergarten in July:)

my little drag queen, LOL

This is Brexen's attempt at putting on mascara and a little eyeshadow, he was conservitive and didnt want to over do it. What do you think? Well, Britt didn't think he did such a good job, only because it was her stuff that was destroyed! He really was trying to be careful, but didnt manage to leave it without lots of damage. Gosh he is a cutie:)

The Big kids play in the snow:)

Brad and I decided to go out to my parents cabin and play with the new snow shoes my Dad got for Christmas. We had such a blast! The weather was perfect, and we totally enjoyed playing in the snow.
The snow was so deep that I could touch the roofline of the cabin, crazy!

Here is Brad getting all geared up

Ohhh how cute a heart! ha ha, we were just being goofy

I know it is hard to see without an arial view. But there is this big open feild by the side of the cabin that had preety much untouched snow, so we decided to write LILES in cursive accross it. We took atleast a million baby steps to pack it down in just the right spots. We followed exactly in each others footsteps so we didnt disturb any of the other snow around it. Pretty fun! Those snow shoes give you such a great workout, we had a hard time walking when we were done because our legs were so tired:)

Playing in the Snow!

Poor little Brex played Soooo hard out in the snow and got himself completly worn out, we thought he would sleep great that night. Wrong, he ended up being sick and puking all night long. So the next morning while everyone else was just getting going, he fell asleep like this and slept for quite awhile right there. He even started talking in his sleep, which was so darn cute. I have never heard him do that before:) I pulled out my camara hoping to get it recorded but he stopped doing it, go figure. I am glad that his sickness passed quickly and nobody else got it. He just continued to be fevered for like 2 days.

Our Trip to Blanding

Cute little girlies!
Brexen and Londyn were in heaven when we got to Blanding after sitting in a car soooo long they needed a way to unwind. What better thing to do than go and beat on the drums like crazy! Brex did decide that this (Blaine's room) was his favorite room in the house this visit not only the drums but Blaine showed Brex where is stash of candy was.

Londyn decided for a minute that the noise was way to loud. But that didnt last long, I guess it was to much work to hold them on:)

I decided to give the drums a try. The head band totally gave the desired effect I think!

Brad showing us his stuff

Blaine really is great on the drums, I sat and listened to him for quite a while. Good job Blaine!

We thought it would be funny to demenstrate "The Drummer From Def Leopard Only Has One Arm".

Birthday suprises!

For my birthday this year I was told not to get out of bed until I was told too. Gosh, how do you argue with that? I could hear the kids rustling around out in our loft area for quite some time, finally at around 8:00 they told me to close my eyes and come out. They had the whole area decorated so cute! There were little cupcakes, candles and other bday pictures hung everywhere. They then led me downstairs to show me that they had straightened the whole downstairs and had me some breakfast waiting. Brittany told me that she wanted to bring it to me in bed but was worried that it would be to messy. She was right, it would have been:) I have told my kids that I used to eat toast with peanut butter and bananas on it all the time as a kid, but they get this super discusted look on there faces at the thought of it. I was suprised to see that she made just that for me.

Off to Nana & Papa's Christmas morning

It gets preety crazy when we are all over at Nana & Papa's but the kids just have a blast together.
This is Brad's grandparents GG & Gpa

O look, another time Brex didnt want his picture taken, so he just closes his eyes

Here are some of the girls waiting so patiently to tackle that huge pile of presents!
It is tradition that after we open our gifts Christmas morning at our own homes, we then head into Brad's parents house for the yummiest breakfast. We then open our gifts from them and then the family exchanges.

Christmas morning

Here is Brexens famous look when he doesnt want a picture. Rather than turn away, he will just close his eyes. We have a few funny ones like this latley.
Here is what the kids made for Brad, Brittany was the ringleader for it. He loved it!

who needs a remote control car when you have a super cool box to where on your head!

Londyn would not have cared if she got anything else on Christmas morning except for this baby set. She just dove right into playing and had to be reminded that there were lots more presents to open

Britt with her new desk, chair and backpack.

Brexen got this trampoline thing, it has been a huge hit. It plays music, counts, animal noises and all sorts of other games.

Christmas Eve party

Here is our official family Christmas shot of 08'
Jersie and Londyn did there dance routine, super cute!

Brittany sang for her talent, she did such a great job!

Here are all the cute little angels

Gena made all the costumes this year, they all turned out so cute! Most of the kids were super excited to wear them. I have to say most, but really I think all but one were excited. That one would be my son, Brexen. All he was interested in, was one of those shepard sticks, hmm I wonder why? could it be so he could swing it around and nearly bash people?

What a great wiseman that Brittany made

Brexen was sooo not excited to sit on Santa's lap, we even tryed all day to prep him.

Londyn was a little unsure about Santa this year still. I did have to tell her that it really was papa or she never would have gone up on his lap without kicking and screaming too.

Family Traditions

So we have this family tradition that started 3 years ago, and my kids totally look forward to it! For our last FHE before Christmas we always decorate our own stockings to put out for santa. The kids just love to go crazy with the puff paint and glitter etc.... This is how they turned out this year. Its a good thing we had a few days for them to dry, there were some spots that had soooo much globbed in one spot that it took forever to dry. We also let the kids decorate there own gingerbread house, however the kids ate more of the candy than they used.

I am now so far behind in my blogging that the thought of doing it is feeling like a pain. So I will start slowly and hopfully get caught up in the next couple days.
