Temple Christmas lights

Any excuse to use our warm clothes we take:) Brex was accually super excited to wear his hat and gloves. He was so cute with the lights, and once Brad told him that there were camels, that was all he could ask about, so we hurried over there.
I dont know why we thought we needed our stroller, this was the only time they accually used it. They were so busy and rushing to move from one thing to the next.

We did our goodly deed!

Last night we took the kids to one of their favorite places to eat dinner, "village Inn". Afterwards we decided to stop by "Home Depot" to look at some flooring. So we drive up and are still sititing in our truck, and in the middle of singing to my dad for his b-day. when we notice this couple that have bought this 9 ft christmas tree, and are walking to their small car. I know I was thinking right off the bat "Hmmm they must not have thought that one out very well". So we continue to watch them try to shove it into their backseat, and so it is now hanging a good foot and a half out of each door. Brad and I were laughing at this point, and we see them sorta look around to see if anyone was watching. So I jumped out of the truck and went over to them to thank them for the laugh. I then offered for them to put it in our truck and we would follow them to their house. They thanked us and agreed. So off we go to follow them, We decided along the way that it could accually be a great scam, lol maybe just for laughs when they turn their right blinker on, we would turn our left on, just to scare them. But no, we didn't. When we got their Brad got out to help unload it and the guy said that he and his wife were thinking the exact same things and that they only had a 50% chance of getting home with their tree:)) It's a good thing that we are as nice as we look:)

SNOW in Az!!!

That's right, snow in our warm ol' az! The kids had to hurry and have a snowball fight because it was melting so fast. My poor kids got covered because I had to jump in and help with the fight, hey I miss the snow:)
It is such a funny sight to see so many kids just rushing to get there snowballs. Sadly this is as much as we will see here this winter:)

A Christmas Spectacular

Today we went to a 2:00 showing of "A Christmas Spectacular" at the QC performing arts center. Anything that has to do with Christmas is a GO for our family! The kids love these type of things.

What a goofy girl!

Thanksgiving day

Brex is always willing to help me in the kitchen, so as a reward I let him lick the bowl, Brex takes that job seriously and dives right in.

This is Londyn taking a break from all the fun on Thanksgiving

For those who dont know this is a "Neos" it is a new School playground toy. Most people havent gotten the chance to play it. However my inlaws hooked us up, and it was great to keep us all busy before and after we ate:)

Day after Thanksgiving madness:)

I don't think that we could have possibly fit another thing into our fun filled day. Early in the morning Britt and I took off for the great sales, we seriously shopped til we dropped! By 10:30 we were needing a break so we snuck of to watch "Twilight". I have to say that I liked the movie, but I didn't care for Edward or Jacob. But I did love the Bella they chose. It was the perfect break we needed. After that we hit a few more stores and finally went to have some lunch at Nana & Papa's house. Brad and I ran a few quick runs for last minute things. As sad as it was that I spent the WHOLE day shopping, I still had to run one last time to target on the way home to get some cough medicine for my babies:) I was super glad to get home and relax:) The kids were equally excited to get home and get there jammies on, Brex and Londyn got up at 5:30 to go with daddy and Papa for a drive out to Queen Valley. So they had a super long day with only a few cat naps along the way. What a fun day, and what a fun drive home to see all the Christmas lights on, I just love the Christmas season!

Londyn you make me laugh

Londyn said the cutest thing yesterday on our way to preschool, I just had to share. We carpool with Audry who is our neighbor and one of Londyn's best little buddies. Anyways, I always turn the radio off and really listen to those girls gab in the back seat while driving because they just crack me up all the time. So a few little details are that Londyn is wearing her jean skirt with some pink cowgirl boots and Audry was wearing this frilly skirt, both looking absolutly adorable. Anyways, Londyn commented on how beautiful Audry looked. Audry's reply was "Ya, I am wearing my princess skirt because I AM a Princess". So Londyn then says "Ya, I am a cowgirl but I don't have a cow". I couldn't stop laughing:) Somone needs to get this girl a cow I guess.

Brittany performs in "The Jungle Book"

Brittany really gave us a great showing of "The Jungle book". Grandma and Grandpa came from Blanding with Blaine to watch Britt perform. Also Nana & Papa came. We all really enjoyed it! Even little Brex and Londyn's eyes were glued on the stage the entire time:) we kind of wondered if they would get restless, but nope. Britt was a 60's elephant and was totally decked out in her makeup and fabu costume. She performed on fri night, 2 shows on Sat. a monday night showing and then she also had to miss school on tuesday for 2 daytime showings for a couple of schools to watch. She did great and we are super proud of her!

Quirks

Quirks
Here are the rules:
1. Link the person who tagged you. Kenz, these are so hard for me
2. Mention rules on your blog.
3. Tell about 6 quirks of yours.
4. Tag 6 fellow bloggers to do the same.
5. Leave a comment to let them know.

I am not good at these things, and most people who know me know that I am a dork and preety weird so I should be able to com up with oddles.

- I am so terrified of smelling anyone's bad breath, I hold my breath quite frequently when I think I might have encounter that. I have a client who ALWAYS has terrible knock you out breath and I have had to excuse myself out of the room when I was pregnant and even more sensitive to smell because I would have puked.

- I have to do my hair and makeup EVERY day, no matter if noone will even see me and if I am not leaving the house. It is a must! and i seriously dont do it for anyone but myself.

- I love the thrill of selling my junk or my kids old clothes on ebay:) Somtimes it is a pain to list it, but I just love to see bidding wars go on for my items. This sounds dumb I know, but I make some preety good money doing it.

-I am kind of a hombody, I love to keep busy around my house. I dont have to be gone all the time like some people. I have so many project and yard work to keep busy with that between those, my kids, and working, I just dont really care if I get out to often. Even though I do end up having a great time when I do go out. It helps that I have clients over to visit with everyday, so its not like I am a hermit.

- I lOVE to travel and stay in nice motels. The motel is half the fun of the trip. So dont ask me to stay in a dump to save a few bucks. I can remember that I was in highschool on sports trips before I ever stayed in my first motel. I remember being so excited and everyone that I was rooming with thought I was just being dumb. Maybe because I had never done this as a child is why it is such a treat now:)

- After reading Kenz's I keep thinking about one of her's on loving sweets. And we are preety much the same as far as that goes. I love dessert, but unfortunatly for me it shows. LOL but heck ya, the worse it is for you the better I am going to love it.

Now I get to tag some other people

Very Naughty Brittany

Because I use this blog as my journal, I thought I would add a sort of funny-not so good FIRST that happened today for Brittany. I hope this doesnt embarass Britt. I received a phone call from her principal at school letting me know that Britt and 2 other girls from her class had been sent to her office this morning. I have to admit that Brittany can get a little mouthy, but not to the point of getting in real trouble at school so I was shocked and anxious to hear what had gone on. I was informed that there was a verbal fight that took place in PE class, this entire fight was totally POLITICAL. To spare you the details, these girls were really getting preety heated about all the political issues. I had to laugh a bit when the principal told me that, I then said to her "wow, that is so weird that these 5th graders are so into politics." She did tell me the main arguments, which I have to say THANK GOODNESS MY DAUGHTER IS LISTENING!!! because these things DO matter. However, she definatly needed to go about a different way of expressing her views. So yes, it was a first to get sent to the principal, but I am not to upset. Maybe I have myself a little politician on my hands.

Halloween Party time

Londyn and Brexen were invited to a friends dressup birthday party yesterday. It was such a fun party, the kids had a great time.
This is my little cowboy Brex, he wore this with pride. I couldnt beleive that he kept his hat on the entire time:)

Later this same day we went to our wards trunk or treat- chili cookoff. What a slammin' turn out, the kids had a blast and they made a killing on the candy.

Brex was out keeping everyone in line with his pistol

Britt was off with her friends the whole time. What fun costumes!

We are true hunters!

We totally look like great hunters if I dont say so myself

Brad doesnt quite look awake yet. However it was like christmas morning for me, I was so excited.
this was as successful as we were in the time we got to hunt. I dont think this deer is going to make to much jerky, darn! We did see a couple bucks, but the shots were quite far. Owell atleast there was to gutting the deer left for us to do:)

Some of the boys, I wont name names. Umm Brian, wernt sure if they wanted some girls along for their manly hunt. But we looked so cute in our camo how could they have resisted us.

The Icecream Man

It has been forever since I have seen an "Icecream Man" drive through our neighborhood. But what was really funny is that both Brittany and Londyn both heard the music and instantly new to run out front calling for me to bring the money:)) Brex just followed excitedly not really knowing what he was running for.
the kids were still in AWE over how cool it was that some guy in a truck would bring them icecream:)))

a sick boy shouldnt look soooo cute:)

My little man Brex seriously canNOT stay well for 2 minutes. While being in Blanding for only a few days he was crying tons and telling me that his mouth hurt, as well as running a fever, so we grabbed a flashlight and looked in his mouth, we instantly noticed a huge white lesion on his throat and it was also very swollen, ummm duhh that would cause for a sore throat. After dealing with insurance because we are on an HMO we were told that the best route for us was to take him to an ER. So off we went. This cute pic is of Brex chillin on the hospital bed with his ipod, he was such a good boy while we waited. The nurse and the doctor both commented on how good he was to just let them look him over. Yah that would be because he is a pro at going to the doctor unfortunatly. We found out that he has that viral hand and foot sickness, even though the sores are only in his mouth right now. They dont look like they going to spread. Hopfully we are good for awhile:)

part 1 of our utah trip

Grandma Nancy, Grandma Julie, and my fam, (minus Brad) all went to enjoy lunch down at "twin rocks" in Bluff. Brexen was so funny, when the waitress came over he said "Diet Coke please" and my mom started laughing and said, did he really just ask for that? he then procceded to ask for a taco too:) he had heard us talking about wanting a navajo taco. what a crack up he knows what he likes
Hear is Britt with grandma Nancy
Lulu bugs
Brex chillin on grandpa's lap while we were watching tv

We are currently still in Blanding enjoy the nice long break from life:) I love my life, but there is no place like home as dorothy said.

My little princess and Prince

Of course if I take a picture of one of them, I have to take one of the other. Life IS fare!

when I was getting Londyn ready for school the other day I asked her how she wanted her hair done. Usually we ask if she wants it down, pony, or willy neilson's (braided pigtails). She told me to hold on and came back with her princess tiara and asked that she please needed to wear that and a pony. So being the good little mommy, I did just that:)
It is funny how when a kid wears a tiara it totally changes the way they do things, totally like a princess would. Ha ha just kidding, but she did look so cute and we ended up needing to run to the grocery store and she was so proud to parade around like that all day.

wow another tooth:)

Britt has been sad that she still has all of her teeth, what's the rush, right. Well 6 months ago when we were at her dentist apt he finished her checkup and asked her if she had any questions and totally serious she asked "yes I have one question, umm how long do I need to wait until I can get my teeth whitened?" I laughed only because I didnt even know she wanted that done. He thought she was adorable and assured her that it would still be a few years because she first had to loose all of her baby teeth. This is one step closer in her book:)

what a crack up, she is so dramatic about it:) THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS TOOTH COMING OUT WAS THAT SHE SPENT THE EVENING AT NANA AND PAPA'S AND HER TOOTH WASNT EVEN LOOSE. ON THE DRIVE HOME SHE FELT IT LOOSEN AND FROM THEN IT WAS ON. WITHIN 10 MIN OF IT BECOMING LOOSE, SHE HAD IT OUT!

Brittany must be a good babysitter!

This is proof that Brittany does a great job babysitting! I came home to a clean and happy house:) I am never gone to long, but she is always willing to step in and take charge of the little ones and they just LOVE there Brittany!
Quite the little photographer also, she always gets great shots.
