A few more from our family reunion

Angela sent over all of her pics from our reunion, she had so many great ones, so I decided to add a few more for you all to see:) The top one had everyone except for my grandpa Peipgrass in it, he ended up not being able to get there til later than expected. As you can see we had a great time!

We just went to our family reunion this past weekend. We all had such a great time! It was up at my parents cabin just outside of Blanding. My dad and brother Blaine have done so much work on it, "da cabin" looks great, and worked perfect for all of us up there. We plan on doing our reunion there every year. The weather was such a releif from the million degree weather we have been having here. It was overcast everyday, and we even got some rain a couple times, but it was perfect. Its to bad that it takes so long for us to get there because otherwise we would go up there more often. While there we had a suprise 30th wedding anniversary for my parents, I think that we did good to keep it a suprise. We spent part of Saturday at the lake until we got rained out, we had rented canoes and kayka's. We were a little bumbed not to get more water time. One of these pictures is of Brad and Brian spinning Jen and Ang on the swing that my dad built out of an axel, so it was well greased and would get going like a million miles an hour, it looked like a ton of fun, however I didn't ever get on it because I know that I have a week stomach for spinning:) but they were good sports. And most importantly we all got a great laugh, they both hopped off the swing sick and dizzy, jen went stumbling trying to catch her footing. Brittany was almost non existant while there, she was so busy running with the pack, and londyn had so much fun getting dirty, one day she spent the better part of it playing in a water puddle. Brex was so tuff and was crawling across gravel to get to the fun, his favorite thing to do was ride on the ranger, one day he wouldnt go down for his nap and he was so tired and was fussy, so I took him for the longest ride, and he didnt budge the entire time.

ok, so can you say polka dots. After spending what seems like forever in Britt's room painting and putting dots everywhere we are pretty much finished:) we still need to hang a few pictures, but this will let you see how cute it turned out. And needless to say, Brittany LOVES it!

4th of July

This year at the 4th we had a great time as always. Brexen and Londyn stayed and watched the parade with grandma and grandpa Bradford, grandma Lyman, Angela, Brian, and mom and dad. Brittany got to ride with grandpa Lyman in the parade, she was on the back of his 4 wheeler, she had a blast! The day was a hot one, we stuck around for the races for the kids, diving for dollars (Brittany did great and walked away with over $10), also Brittany did a swimming relay and took first place in her age group, I had no idea that she was such a fantastic swimmer. We watched a little of the horseshoe tournement and then ate lunch befor taking off up to the cabin where it was a little cooler. We played pool, and then started our own horseshoe tourney and I would like to say that Angela and I won! later that night we went to watch the fireworks, they were great as always, however the wind kicked up this year towards the finale and they had to postpone it for a bit. We left and got the kids to bed and those that were up later got a finale that was wow! unfortunatly I didn't see it, but I did wake up wondering if we were in the middle of a war zone.

I thought nobody wanted me to show our funny pictures of us on the waterslide, but when they read the blog they wondered where those pics were. sooo here they are:) we all just look so great! This was so fun, we got laughing so hard at each other at times we thought we would pee our pants. we would get going so fast that we would fly off of the end of the slide. One of the pics is of Brad,Tracy, and Jami racing on the slip and slide, Brad won by a landslide.

Brittany's Suprise party #9

So we had suprize birthday party for Brittany yesterday. 7/21/07 it was a huge sucess! I have to say that it is super hard to plan a suprize party while she was out for summer break. She was always with me and always asking lots of questions about all the phone calls, etc..... but in the end it was great. Everyone that knows Brittany knows that she is never at a lack for words, and we managed to make her speechless. When she walked through the front door all of her little friends jumped out blowing those little party blowers and screaming. Britt just stood there with no expression on her face, infact I dont remember who said it, but they thought that she looked almost mad. But she totally wasnt, it just took her a second to realize that we had pulled a fast one on her:) All of the kids had a blast, Londyn loved the slide! we had swimming, a slippin' slide and the blow up slide. We had a cute little snow cone machine, so the kids just helped themselves while running from thing to thing. I have some great pictures of all of the adults playing on the slide, butttttt I have threatened not to show those pictures, I will say that it was so funny. Britt we LOVE ya!
